Easy via ferrata Dolomites in a historical setting

The mountain battle between the Austrians and the Italians can hardly be better understood than at Lagazuoi.
A gigantic labyrinth of tunnels was constructed as both sides drilled through the mountain with the aim of blasting a bomb as close as possible to the enemy. In combination with the via ferrata Kaiserjäger trail, it is a very beautiful and interesting tour. The tour is ideal both for children who are attracted by the adventure in the long tunnel (the younger ones take the cable car up and go back down through the tunnel) and for adults interested in history (there are numerous information boards giving an insight into the history. The tour takes about 3–4 hours and is not too physically strenuous.
