Freeride & Downhill

The Herrnsteig freeride trail (7 km long, altitude difference 1,300 m) starts right on the summit of Plan de Corones, which you reach from Riscone/Brunico via the Plan de Corones cable car.

Paragliding

With its 360° panoramic view and 1,300 m difference in altitude, the Plan de Corones family mountain is probably the most attractive flying area for paragliding in Val Pusteria. Experience the beautiful South Tyrolean landscape from on high.

 

Panoramic hiking

The ’Concordia 2000’ peace bell is enthroned on the summit of the 2,275 m high Plan de Corones. It is the largest bell in the Alps and surrounded by a platform offering spectacular panoramic views every step of the way.

The exhibition at Brunico Castle, once the summer residence of the prince bishops. Dedicated to mountain people from all over the world, their culture and religion as well as tourism.

Predoi climatic gallery & mine museum

Leave your cares behind and find inner peace. 1,100 m deep in the mountain. The climatic gallery in Predoi is a mystical place of deep relaxation. Its special microclimate relieves and calms respiratory problems.

 

Lago di braies

The ‘Pearl of the Dolomite Lakes“. A picture book of a place. A unique spectacle of nature. Stage for fashion shootings and romantic marriage proposals. Nestling in the Dolomites and an intense turquoise-blue. Perfect for circular hikes and rowing.

 

Earth pyramids

Amazing natural phenomena. Can be admired in various places in South Tyrol. After an easy (family) hike, you reach the cone-shaped peaks in Vila di Sopra or in Terento. A centuries-old natural spectacle. Not to be missed.
